Day 04 - song that makes you sad
Achilles last stand.Because it’s fantastic and so full of joy, plans for the future etc. while in many ways it was the beginning of an end. THE last stand indeed.
Day 05 - song that reminds you of someone
Immigrant Song will always remind me of my Dad. I remember getting LZ III for my birthday and immediately wanting to hear it but the stereo wasn’t working properly. So we fixed it together but as it was quite late at night I turned the volume way down. My Dad then set it to max and told me: “That’s how you listen to this.”
Day 06 - song that reminds you of somewhere
Lemon song. Lying in a tent set up in my room (yes, a tent - I was conducting serious equipment checks before holidays) and listening to LZ II in full for the first time I believe. That bloody guitar about 1:30.
